Miodrag Martinovic (Mr. Martin)

Mr. Martin is a native of Belgrade, Serbia. During his undergraduate studies in piano performance he studied with Dr. Dorian Leljak, at Academy of the Art in Novi Sad. Trained in the rich Russian pianistic tradition he also studied with Vladimir Ogarkov (People`s Honored Artist of Russia). Mr Martinovic studied during his Masters' degree with Dr. Wei-Yi Yang (Yale, NH).

He has performed at many festivals and concerts throughout Europe. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Martinovic appeared in the festival Musica in Italy where he performed Tchaikovsky`s First Piano Concerto. He has recorded many recitals for the national radio of Serbia. Mr. Martinovic performed the world premiere of Liu Zwang`s Plum Blossom in 2003 with Setnor School of Music symphony orchestra.

During his Master`s degree Mr. Martinovic received the Irene Crooker Award for excellence in piano performance. Mr. Martinovic received the prestigious Othmer Doctoral Fellowship at UNL and has received numerous other honors, awards and prizes. Mr. Martinovic is refining his musicianship as a Doctoral candidate with the help of an outstanding American pianist and teacher Paul Barnes.

Mr. Martin has performed in numerous recitals, chamber concerts, concertos with orchestra and is currently is finishing his D.M.A in piano performance. Mr. Martinovic is member of American Liszt Society, EPTA-European Piano Teacher Association, MTAC- Music Teachers Association of California, Phi Beta Delta – Honor Society for International Scholars.

Maria Martinovic

Mrs. Maria Martinovic attended the University of Novi Sad, where she majored in Piano Performance. She has studied with renowned pianists and professors, including Biljana Gorunovic, Iris Kobal, Jokut Mihailovic among the others.

Mrs. Martinovic has performed in numerous international piano venues throughout Europe and the United States. 

Mrs. Martinovic has performed in recitals as a soloist and accompanist. She has had the privilege to collaborate with renowned and exceptional musicians.

Mrs. Martinovic has more than ten years of private teaching experience. She enjoys helping students of all ages progress in their understanding of piano performance and theory.

We are always working on something. Most of the time, it's getting results for my students. But sometimes, it's a personal project that lets us explore new concepts and ideas.
