About Us

Each student at MM Piano Studio receives weekly, individualized piano instruction. Our committed piano teachers help students explore the challenge and fulfillment that comes from musical education. From elementary school students and adult beginners to conservatory-bound teenagers, we believe that any student regardless of age and skill level can benefit from piano instruction. All of our students share one thing in common: a passion for music knowledge.

We provide students with strong instruction in technical principles while also encouraging them to appreciate each piece and make their own observations about what they hear. By exploring their imagination and creativity, our students develop a lifelong love for music. They also achieve the satisfaction that comes from mastering a musical piece through hard work and dedication.

Students must be dedicated to regular practice in order to experience the benefits of music education. According to world-renowned pianist Menahem Pressler, “Practicing could be considered the most important part of a pianists life since it is through practice that there is the gain of confidence and security upon which a successful performance is built.” We encourage parents to actively support their child’s practice schedule.

All students are given the opportunity to participate in yearly piano recitals for their friends and family. Piano recitals are important because they allow students to demonstrate what they have learned and gain valuable performance experience. We find that recitals give students a goal to work toward and provide them with inspiration to continue improving.
